Egg Tartines w/ Tahini Sauce

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 garlic cloves

  • a pinch of pink salt

  • 1/2 cup well-stirred tahini (sesame paste)

  • 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice

  • 1/4 cup water

  • 2 organic eggs

  • ghee and/or olive oil

  • a sprinkle of turmeric

  • a sprinkle of lemon pepper

  • organic farmer's market sourdough bread

HOW TO MAKE IT:

  1. Toast two slices of sourdough bread and spread ghee on them.

  2. While bread is toasting, fry eggs in a frying pan with ghee or olive oil.

  3. Sprinkle the eggs with turmeric, lemon pepper, and pink salt.

  4. To make the Tahini sauce, blend first five ingredients in a blender, adding more water, as necessary, to make a more runny sauce.

  5. Place the eggs on your toast (you can add salmon, avocado, or all-natural bacon for an even tastier tartine).

  6. Drizzle Tahini sauce over the eggs and serve.
